For more than 50 years, The Fund for American Studies has worked to change the world by developing leaders for a free society. On Tuesday, March 6, TFAS will make an exciting announcement about the future of our organization and expanding our impact. We will also honor some of our most outstanding alumni by awarding the 50th Anniversary Alumni Awards. We hope you will join us for this special event at the St. Regis in Washington, D.C. Together, we can continue our important journey of protecting liberty by reaching and teaching the future leaders of America and the world.

TFAS 50TH ANNIVERSARY ALUMNI AWARD RECIPIENTS

STEPHEN F. HAYES (AIPES 94, Novak 00)
Alumni Achievement Award Recipient
Hayes is editor-in-chief of The Weekly Standard, a Fox News contributor and regular member of the "Fox News All-Stars," as well as the author of two New York Times bestsellers. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Reason, National Review and many other publications. He previously served as director of the TFAS Institute on Political Journalism.



JOHNATHAN LOZIER (IBGA 08)
Kevin Burket Alumni Service Award Recipient
Lozier is senior manager of state issues for Stateside Associates, where he works with clients on a wide range of state government affairs issues, leveraging his expertise on advocacy efforts, strategic planning and communications, as well as his extensive network of elected officials. Lozier is also a dedicated TFAS volunteer, offering his time and expertise over the past nine years as a mentor, speaker, internship host and member of the TFAS Alumni Council.



REMLEY JOHNSON (ICPES 11)
Young Alumnus Award Recipient
Johnson serves as chief of staff to former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. She oversees projects including the launch of Mr. Rumsfeld’s Winston Churchill Solitaire App and the publication of his third book, "When the Center Held: Gerald Ford and the Rescue of the American Presidency." In addition to her chief of staff role, Johnson served as an aide to Dr. Ed Feulner, senior advisor to the presidential transition for domestic policy.
