Renee Hamlen (E 96) and husband P.J. welcomed their second child, Paul Joseph Hamlen III, (Joey) on Friday, December 7. Renee and big sister Amelia are pictured here with newborn Joey.

 

Amin Shaaban Abdelnaby (I 07), who is in his last year of a master's program in political science and international relations at Assiut University, will present a research paper on U.S. and Israel – Indian Relations at a youth conference in March 2008.

(l.) Krasimira Yordanova (I 03) was married on August 18, 2007 in Bulgaria. Yordanova is a legal advisor for AQUATEC LTD. in Bulgaria.

Jamie E. Brown (E 89), a federal relations counsel for Google, Inc., has joined the bipartisan lobbying firm Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti, Inc.in Washington, D.C.

Natalie Rule (B 95) has accepted the position of director of external relations for Admission Possible in St. Paul, Minn.

Joseph Farhat (I 96) is an assistant professor of finance for Central Connecticut State University.

Tugba Kalafatoglu (B 97) has been selected for the third year in a row to be included in "Who's Who in the World 2008" for her outstanding achievement in the field of politics, law and business.

Lindsay Donaire (B 99) is a human resources business partner for Godiva Chocolatier Europe in Brussels where she is responsible for 5 countries - Belgium, France, England, Germany, and Italy. Donaire was also married in April of 2007.

Yasmin M. Kayali (I 01, B 03) has started her own marketing services company in Lebanon. CLICK HERE to view her website. 

Marilyn J. Perry (J 01) currently works for Research!America, a DC-based advocacy organization in their New York City office. She is also engaged to be married in May of 2008.

Jill L. Simodejka (A 02) works for the United States Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.


Gabby Kusz (B 02) has completed her master's in public policy at Georgetown University in May and has been traveling through Eastern Europe and Central Asia as a Financial Management Consultant for the World Bank Group.

Grant R. Ellis (CSS 03) works for ARPS Retirement Plan Advisor Actuarial Services Group, Inc. in Memphis, Tenn.

Rebekah S. Perry (E 04) is in law school at Yale University.

Patty Gentry (P 04) has accepted a new position with Share our Strength, a DC-based national nonprofit where she will be working as a field coordinator for Taste of the Nation and will be coordinating 50-60 fundraising events across the country to support children’s hunger organizations.

Thomas A. Lewis (CSF 05) graduated from the London School of Economics with a master's degree in international history and plans to relocate to Washington, D.C.

Julten Ibrahim (I 05) is studying for her master's in global studies at Freiburg University in Germany.

Urosh Maksimovich (I 05, B 07) is in graduate school at the University of Belgrade where he is studying counter terrorism and organized crime.

Robert G. Thelen (B 05) is currently a 2dLt at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.

Ekaterina Basilaia (EMJI 06) is currently pursuing her master's at San Jose State University.

Irina Hurezeanu (I 06) graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies and is currently studying for her master's degree on innovation in Italy.

Sarp Tunçay (I 06) is studying at City University, London.

Brittney J. Loch (B 07) has accepted a job with Congressman Sam Graves' (R-Mo) re-election campaign starting in June.
