The Institute on Business and Government Affairs (IBGA) is an educational and internship program sponsored by The Fund for American Studies (TFAS). The Institute prepares college student leaders for ethical and effective public policy advocacy careers.

The corporate supporters of the IBGA program play an integral role in the professional development of student leaders through an eight week long summer internship program. The unpaid interns spend this time working in sponsors’ offices and learning the skills and ethical standards by which the next generation of public policy advocates will operate. Students also attend class sessions and seminars taught by accomplished economists and lobbyists.

Since 1990, the Institute has provided a unique Washington, D.C. experience with a focus on American institutions and economic systems. There are more than 13,000 alumni of The Fund for American Studies’ programs, and many of them have continued their public policy advocacy careers in the Washington, D.C. area.

The Fund for American Studies welcomes corporate donations at all levels. In addition, TFAS has adopted a formal corporate program for donors at the $2,500 level and above. For information about the opportunities available to corporate sponsors, please see below:
