TFAS LAUNCHES BLOG FOR D.C. INTERNS
Alumni Guest Bloggers Needed!
TFAS is looking for Georgetown Institute or D.C. based alumni who are interested in sharing insights with current interns on our recently launched recruitment blog, District GPS.
"District GPS" was launched last month with the goal of sharing tools and information with interns who want to succeed and get ahead in the workplace. Topics have included career advice and professional etiquette as well as insider information on living in the nation’s capital.
The blog has featured a few guest writers already, including Jenadee Nanini (CSS 09), a junior at Washington State University and a former intern with the Office of Senator John Tester (Mont.).
Jenadee shared a list of tips for interns to get the most out of their experience in D.C. An upcoming post will feature TFAS mentor, Marisha Goldhamer Sherry, giving advice on using D.C.’s arts and culture scene to network.
Submissions are welcome from TFAS alumni on topics such as career development, getting your foot in the door, networking and advice on succeeding in your industry.
If you are interested in submitting a post for District GPS, please contact Haley Heieck at hheieck@tfas.org.
