  • 12/21/08 -Canyon News published an exclusive interview with IPJ alumnus David Muir (J 07) about his rise in the ABC ranks in “Changing Gears with David Muir.”

  • 11/5/2008 - Abilene Reporter-News reports on Daniel Johnson-Kim (J 07) alumnus and reporter, who is managing the student media lab (the centerpiece of a $1.1 million project) at Abilene Christian University in ACU student heads up news lab.

  • 11/5/08 - Legal Studies Institute student Kevin Lacey (LSI 08) describes the impact of LSI on solidifying his commitment to law school and his new role as ambassador for the program in the University of Dayton School of Law article “Summer Internship in D.C.   • 11/3/2008 - CNN announces alumnus Stephen Hayes (A 94) as its newest political contributor in"Stephen F. Hayes Joins CNN's Best Political Team on Television". Multichannel News also reported on Hayes' new position.

  • 9/102008 - Two TFAS alumni were featured in a NY Daily News piece, ' "Dave fears Mac Camp 'race codes.'" IPJ alumnus Saul Loeb (J 03) took the photo of Sen. Barack Obama that accompanies the article while Peter Feldman (P 04, LSI 07) is quoted.

  • 9/3/2008 - An article in Indian Country Today  profiles Johnathan Lozier (B 08) and his summer in Washington, D.C. As a student in the Institute on Business and Government Affairs, Lozier interned with the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers on Capitol Hill. Click Here to read more.

  • 9/03/2008 - Online publication Culture11 quotes TFAS President Roger Ream (E 76) in its article "Coming Up Conservative."  On page 3, the  piece discusses The Fund's students and academic programs.

  • 8/19/2008 -  Capital Semester student Alexandra Felfle (CSF 08) was chosen to attend the University Presidential Inaugural Conference where she will attend  the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States.   • 8/19/2008 - The McAlester News-Capital features ICPES student Emily Stites (E 08) in "Ms. Stites goes to Washington." The article looks at Stite's experiences in D.C. and the lessons she was able to bring back to her home state of Oklahoma.

  • 06/04/2008 - “Cambell takes craft to Chronicle” announces IPJ alumnus Dave Campbell’s (J 05) move to The Leaf-Chronicle. A local government reporter, Cambell says his internship experience sparked his interest in journalism.

  • 05/21/2008 - CNN profiles IPJ student Jaclyn Cosgrove (J 08) in “Shoutouts for college journalism’s best and brightest.” Cosgrove was named one of UWire’s 100 Best Student Journalists in the Country.

  • 05/15/2008 - IIPES alumnus Derrick Goodrich (I 07) receives The University of Arizona’s Dean’s Award for Excellence. Goodrich was one of two students at UA’s Honor’s College to receive the award.

  • 5/9/2008 - The Choronicle of Philanthropy discusses IPVS student Molly Hamm (P 08) and her internship with The People Speak in "Inside a $5-Million Effort to Aid the Nonprofit World's Next Generation."

  • 11/2005 - Rosanne Lienhard (J 92, A 93) was featured in The Iowa Lawyer magazine for her work as an attorney and volunteer in Sioux City, Ia. She speaks about her internship at TFAS and how her experiences have helped shape her view of volunteerism.

  • 10/31/2005 - Estonian Public Radio highlights TFAS: Kuku Radio broadcast an interview with Kairi Õun (E 05) on its weekly program "Skolion" aimed at young peopled between the ages of 17 and 26. Oun was one of two Estonians who received full scholarships funded by Ambassador Aldona  Wos and her husband, TFAS Trustee Louis DeJoy. Oun explained her motives for applying to the program, her experience in Washington and she encouraged other Estonian students to find opportunities to study abroad.

  • 8/9/2005 - The Village Voice profiled several TFAS students Kyle Reini (B 05), Jessica Van Parys (E 05), Stacy Gabriel (B 05) and Mark Stilp (P 05) in an article about Washington internships, entitled “Generation Debt: The New Economics of Being Young.”

  • 7/26/2005 - The Croatian Chronicle features Davor Kunc (A 02, I 04, E 05) and his experience at TFAS. "More than 70 Croatian nationals have finished TFAS programs," Kunc said. "They are indeed the future leaders of Croatia either in business or in politics."
