Ted V. McAllister (E 82) presented two lectures at the Philadelphia Society's 2010 national meeting and presented a lecture for the National Constitution Center, held at Pepperdine University in July. In addition he has authored an essay entitled "A Product of Speed" in Front Porch Republic.
Cheryl L. Whelan (J 85) was named the general counsel of the Kansas State Department of Education.
Christopher J. Bright (E 86) has been elected to the board of trustees of George Washington University and is an adviser to Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.).
Jonathan P. Cody (E 90) is the managing director for Whitehall & Company in New York, N.Y.
Jennifer Mir (J 96) is practice development manager at the law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles.
Melita Leoussis (I 02) is working for the American College of Greece in Athens.
Nermine M. Wally (I 03) is studying for her master's in public affairs at Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris.
Jaime N. Gassmann (I 04) received her Ph.D from the University of Kansas in 2010.
Lauren A. Johns (CSS 04, I 05) recently began studying for her J.D. at Georgetown University Law School.
Patrick McCarthy (J 04) joined Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C. as a senior consultant in the firm's Strategic Communications Center of Excellence.
Dina E. Rifaat (I 04) is studying for her M.Sc in international strategy and economics at Saint Andrews in Scotland.
Irida Vorpsi (A 04) is studying for her Ph.D in Vienna and teaching at Tirana University.
Julten I. Abdelhalim (I 05) is studying for her Ph.D at Heidelberg University in Germany and is currently in India doing field work for her degree.
Jad S. Elias (I 05, E 06) is studying for his MBA at Harvard University.
Jason B. Bomberger (B 06) is an IT consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Stamford, CT. He is also head of the board of directors for the non-profit organization Transformative Global Learning.
Joshua N. Zingher (J 06) is studying for his Ph.D in political science at the State University of New York, Binghamton.
Nour F. Rustom (I 07) climbed Mount Kilimanjaro on September 10 to help raise funds for pediatric cancer patients in the Middle East. CLICK HERE for more.

Rhea Penaflor (EJI 09) was appointed as head secretariat to the 11th International Youth Day held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila from Aug. 10-11, 2010. She was also a panelist and speaker on the topic, "Media Literacy and Peace Education of the Youth.”
