Lindsey Harvey joined the development team as director of dndividual gifts at The Fund for American Studies in July 2011. Prior to joining TFAS, Harvey worked for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in his Washington, D.C. office as well as for his political nonprofit, American Solutions. She has also worked for a political consulting firm in Richmond, Va. and on Capitol Hill in The Office of U.S. Senator George Allen (R-VA).

A native of Richmond, Va., Harvey received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Harvey and her husband, Jay, live in Arlington, Va.
