Augusto Salinas
Economics (ILA)

Professor Salinas has a Ph.D in history from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Arts in science history and a master's in higher education at University of Wisconsin. He was a visiting professor at Georgetown University and a lecturer at University of Wisconsin. Professor Salinas was a Fulbright Fellow and is a member of the American Association of History of Science. His current research topics at Universidad de los Andes are science and technology history, university history and cultural environment of innovation.
